The electric powered, multidirectional Combi-MR4 reach truck is equipped with the new Dynamic 360° steering function, which provides rotation on each wheel and enables seamless directional change while on the move. Dynamic 360° allows the agile forklift to work in forward, sideward and crab steer mode, guaranteeing swift operation.
Engineers sought to develop a multidirectional model with a very low platform to maximize storage density. The truck is available in two models with capacity ranges up to 10,000 lbs., and can handle long or palletized loads in aisles as narrow as 8 feet. Driver comfort and safety priorities are reflected in a high visibility stand up or sit down operator cabin, AC-electric power steering, plus joystick controlling hydraulic mast functions and travel direction. The articulated rear axle with two rubber drive wheels provides optimum traction for outdoor use, while ensuring nimble and accurate truck placement.
The novel steering concept enables operators to manipulate the truck’s positioning and orientation without the need to stop and change driving mode.
